Methodology (Why You Can Trust Our “Hidden Gems” Dog Parks Research)

Participants are meticulously selected from a geographically representative online panel comprised of double opt-in members. This selection process is customized to fulfill the specific requirements of each distinct survey. Throughout the survey process, questions are strategically formulated to screen and authenticate participants, ensuring their alignment with the target demographic of the survey.

3,000 dog owners were asked to recommend lesser-known dog parks suitable for other dog owners. The editorial team at Technobark conducted a review of the submissions, excluding any that were deemed inappropriate or that didn’t quite fit the “hidden gems” criteria. For example, Dog Mountain in Vermont was omitted from the final list due to its widespread recognition among the dog owner community.

To safeguard the integrity of our data collection process, we implement a comprehensive suite of data quality assurance measures. These include, but are not limited to, digital fingerprinting, bot detection checks, geo-verification, and speeding detection (a quality assurance measure that ensures that we only accept responses from respondents who have taken adequate time to consider their answers).

Additionally, every response is subjected to an exhaustive evaluation by a dedicated quality assurance team member, ensuring the accuracy and relevance of the data. This rigorous approach is also applied to open-ended responses, which are examined for nonsensical replies and potential plagiarism, underscoring our commitment to maintaining the highest standards of data quality.
