Cengcen Pet Camera Treat Dispenser Review

Written by Mark Braeden

When we are juggling work and errands, we do not have much time on our hands, so leaving home to do all this stuff makes us worry about our fur babies at home. We wonder what could they be doing, if they miss us or if they are bothered or stressed alone at home — which may not be good for them as it may develop negative behavior.

But thanks to Cengcen Pet Camera Treat Dispenser, I do not have to worry anymore.

Cengcen Pet Camera Treat Dispenser is an automatic camera with a treat dispenser that you can control remotely through its app. It also has a full HD 1080P camera so you can see what your dog is up to.

Video & Audio Quality And Sharing

Cengcen Pet Camera Treat Dispenser has two-way audio and video sharing which lets you interact with your fur babies even when you’re not at home. It has a 1080P HD camera and can detect natural lighting which makes the camera automatically switch to night mode when the lighting is already dim in the house. No need to fret because you can still manage to view your dog on camera even it is dark inside your house.

You can connect this device to the internet as it supports both 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands. While it is faster to use 5GHz, its range is shorter. You will be automatically switched to 2.4GHz if your device is out of your wifi router’s 5GHz range. Nonetheless, rest assured that the connection is stable, making it easier to connect and avoid signal interference.

The device is compatible with both iOS and Android. You can easily set it up by scanning the product QR code to pair the device with your phone. Once paid, you can now start giving treats remotely. The volume of treat dispense can be also adjusted through the app. Take note that the dispense will be different depending on the size of the treats. Eventually, you will get how it works.

What I love about this camera treat dispenser is that you can share your account with other users without requiring mandatory GPS. My girlfriend and I can now play simultaneously with our dog. He is not so lonely to be left alone in the house now.

Treat Tossing, Compatibility And Capacity

It is ideal to load treats with at least 0.4 to 0.6 inches in diameter. I would highly suggest biscuits, jerky, and freeze-dried treats. The treats pop out of the slot and do not just drop off the slot like a vending machine. In my experience, the toss is powerful enough and covers ample distance which gives our fur babies a happier experience.

Design

The device is sleek and modernly designed with its white color and glossy finish. It has curved edges and is averagely sized at 10.83 x 8.66 x 5.31 inches. The camera can be found on top of the device protruding and facing front. On the bottom part, you will find the color black slot where the treats pop out. On the right side of the treat slot is the two-way speaker where your furry friends can hear your voice and vice-versa.

Our dog is a little big so what I worry about is him toppling over the device. It is a good thing that Cengcen has a wall mount so I just mounted mine on the wall placed it on an ideal spot as the camera is angled downwards. The camera has wide-angle view so so you can also see the room around.

Conclusion

Overall, I can say that Cengcen Pet Camera Treat Dispenser is one of the best in the market. Now, we can enjoy spending time with our dog even we are not at home. Budget-wise, its price is reasonable at USD 109 for all the features it upholds. It is amazing, innovative, and serves its purpose really well. I definitely got the worth of the money I paid for. I highly recommend it as a must-have for fur parents who usually work late. Check the current price here
